Vi Villas 1/8/2020

We are continuing on our way back.
It continues to be a brand new world with daily change of course as we proceed.
Here are some of the things we have implemented.

We have modified our terms to allow you to cancel two weeks in advance of your arrival, if
planes or government restrictions (here and there) prevent you from coming down.
All villas will be cleaned 24 hours before your arrival. Sanitizing will be up to the highest
standards we can accomplish. All linens will be washed in advance, soaps and other
amenities will be unopened, everything we can think of that will make you feel safe when
you arrive.
The villa will be open when you arrive so you can just walk in and know it is clean. Our
greeter will be there albeit a bit remote.
We once again, strongly recommend you rent your car at the St Thomas airport and skip the
public transport hassle. Amalie Car has assured us they are sanitizing every car before it goes
into service. That includes wiping down all seats and touchable surfaces with disinfectant.
Doing this will allow you not to get out of your car until you get to your destination.
We want you to wear a mask when here. No matter how you feel, everyone has a Grandma
someplace. Protect her. Do it for us and especially all the Grannies in the VI. We are opening up our
Islands to you after stopping the virus. We have incurred seven fatalities, most likely all people who
brought it down from the US. We need you to help us keep that up as we have a very large
vulnerable population. Personally I could care less about what you might want to say by not wearing
a mask; some of my closest friends are vulnerable.
IF YOU CANNOT AGREE TO WEAR A MASK WHEN YOU ARE OUT, PLEASE DO NOT COME DOWN.
Maintain your social distance; if you see someone who is not, shame them by walking around them
and looking them square in the face. There is no room for that behavior; they know it, just remind
them and be polite. Politeness in the face of anti -social behavior is powerful.
Our beaches and stores are open. For goodness sake keep your distance from others. It is not
difficult at all. Our restaurants are open and working on a plan to make you feel safe when dining
with them. You always have the option of “take out” if you feel queasy about sitting for dinner.
If you take my age and Ayn’s-divide by two, the answer is 76. We would not suggest you do
anything we are not. That is a promise
We will update you on your arrival as to the exact current status. In the meantime we need you to
sign your rental contract including the Covid Waiver. Please do that and email back to us.

I did not mean to insert this photo, meant for promoting our wine business, but it somehow inserted
itself and does say why you should come down and stay with us. Remember all our properties
have our wines available for you.

We are on our way back and accepting bookings as of June 1 st.
This is a fairly brand new world and our Staff is ready to do their best. I am sure our plan will be
modified as we watch the world and the Virgin Islands make their first steps.
